The snowsuit you need to enjoy winter with your child!

This adapted outdoor snowsuit is specifically designed for special needs children with severe disabilities who travel in wheelchairs or adapted strollers, allowing them to enjoy a beautiful winter day.

It is possible to pass straps inside the coat through ingenious openings that let in the least amount of air possible. The straps can also be passed outside the snowsuit. A space has also been designed to easily insert a feeding or an oxygen tube into the snowsuit.

The adaptive snowsuit designed for winter

  • This adapted snowsuit offers full protection down to -25 °C and is lined from head to toe for maximum warmth
  • This adapted snowsuit is equipped with a collar and a hoodie to protect the neck and head from the cold
  • Booties and mittens are also integrated to reduce the number of steps during dressing up and to prevent these items from falling off
  • The shoulder zippers allow the sleeves to be put on without forcing the child’s arms
  • The front panel attaches to the crotch to prevent it from dragging on the ground when you wish to open the snowsuit
  • This adapted snowsuit also provides enough space to add additional layers of clothing underneath.

  • Wash in cold water on the gentle cycle. Tumble dry in low heat. We recommend using drying balls (or tennis balls!) in the dryer.

Refunds and Shipping Policy

Refunds policy

You have 15 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a full refund if the unsuitable item is defective or damaged. If 15 days have elapsed since your purchase, we unfortunately cannot offer a refund. You are responsible for the cost of returning the items. These fees are not refundable.

To benefit from this policy, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

For an exchange or a return, you must contact us at the following address info@produitshandy.com to get our authorization.

To return or exchange an item, send it by mail to the following address 630 route Henderson, Saint-Malachie, QC, Canada G0R 3N0. The customer must pay the shipping costs to receive the exchanged product.


Once the refund is made by Handy Adapted Products Inc., you can allow 7 to 10 days for the refund to appear on your credit card statement.


For hygienic reasons, the following products are neither refundable or exchangeable:

  • Absorbent pad for feeding tube
  • Swimsuit or diaper
  • Absorbent and waterproof bib
  • Protective feeding flap
  • Feed tube brush (if the package is open)
  • Bottle


Products purchased from a retail partner

Any refunds for items that were purchased from one of our retail partners will be made to the retailer from whom you made the purchase either in-store or online. No exceptions apply.

Shipping policy

Options:

Envelope (4-10 business days) $5.00: No insurance on this type of shipment / at your own risk

Standard ( 2-5 business days) $11.00: Package with tracking numbers and insurance

Free shipping: The amount before tax may vary according to promotions and is only available for shipments to Canada and the USA. 

*Shipping costs may change at any time. 

If the item is in stock, the order will be processed within 2 business days. If the product is out of stock, you will receive a notification of the estimated processing time for your order by email. 

*International shipping can take 7 to 20 days. Customs duties or other taxes upon arrival in the country are at the customer's expense.

In case the customer has provided the wrong shipping address and a second delivery has to be made, the customer will have to pay the shipping costs again.
